What is Ganoderma?

By: Glyndun Bailey | Organo Gold Consultant

Ganoderma Lucidium is thought by many to be the most revered herb in Chinese medicine and has been since it was first used over 4,000 years ago by apothecaries in the Yan Dynasty where it was crowned the “King of Herbs”. In Japan it’s called Reishi, in Asia it’s called Lingzhi, which in Chinese means “herb of spiritual potency” and has also been described as “mushroom of immortality”.

Thought of as a herb, Ganoderma is technically a fungus – or what are popularly referred to as a therapeutic mushroom whose beneficial effects have been so highly regarded that it helped trigger an entire field of scientific research nearly 100 years ago, called mycology (the scientific study of mushrooms).

Reshi is the Japanese name for Ganoderma mushroom. It has always been considered a herb sent by God due to the numerous health benefits it has. The best and most common type is the Red Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidium).

The capsules are made of very fine Reishi powder that is readily absorbed by the human body. It is cultivated under very controlled conditions to ensure high quality growth.

What is so special about OrGano Gold Ganoderma?

Of course everyone is saying their Ganoderma product is the best. We will examine this Herb and the brand.

The cultivation process of our Ganoderma.
The unique log wood cultivation – 6 times more effective

Follow me, would you cultivate Ganoderma using a method that takes six (6) times longer to harvest and requires six (6) times more space? I’m sure NOT, using more time and space costs more money.

However the scientists at OrGano Gold Mr.Leow Soon Seng and its founder C.E.O. Bernardo “Bernie” Chua chose the more expensive and traditional method for one single reason – to give you the best healing results in the shortest possible time. All cultivated Ganoderma used by OrGano Gold is grown under a controlled environment.

OrGano Gold’s Ganoderma is cultivated on natural log wood, taking one year to harvest. This process is long and requires much effort. However, as it takes time to fully absorb sunlight and water, it grows into a solid and firm body compared to that developed under the vacuum process. This produces six(6) times more beneficial organic Germanium, Triterpenes and Polysaccharides.
To date the various tests and experiments conducted with advanced technology, scientists have been able to determine its healing results. A better understanding of the chemical components Ganoderma Lucidium has led to a phenomenal craze about the herb.

Ganoderma has more than 250 active medicinal components. This includes the more active components such as:

Organic Germanium
This rare mineral helps the body improve blood circulation, eliminate fatigue, enhance energy, strengthen immune system and discard toxins. Boosts the amount of oxygen in the blood by nearly 2 times, this helps your metabolism and decreases tissue degeneration. Ganoderma contains 4 to 6 times more of this mineral than Ginseng.

Superoxide Dismutase (SOD)
It’s effective as an antioxidant, it’s our first defense against free radicals. It slows down the ageing of cells and promotes rejuvenation.

Triterpenes  (bitter substance)
Also known as Lingzhi acid. It helps to improve gastro-intestinal functions, fights allergies and fights tumor within the body.

Polysaccharides
Decreases high cholesterol level, suppresses autoimmune diseases, strengthen immune system and suppress cancerous cells, provides superb chemotherapy support.

Adenosine Monophosphate (AMP)
It effectively improves the condition of thrombosis both in the heart and blood vessels. It’s excellent for improving the condition of high blood pressure, and preventing stroke.

The combination of the active components is what gives Ganoderma the amazing medicinal values and various benefits in supporting your body functions and improving your health.

It also contains various beneficial minerals such as:
Calcium (Ca), Potassium (K), Sodium (Na), Ferum (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Magnesium (Mg) and Zinc (Zn).

The grade of Ganoderma quality is affected by the cultivation method which causes varying levels in the active components; hence not all brands of Ganoderma are the same. So why the OrGano Gold brand of Ganoderma products? Because of our meticulous cultivation process, give it a try you won’t lose. Try It.
